IS THIS MY CIRCUS? - ACT II

Perhaps, in the end, that's the beauty of it. Each creation asks me again: Is this my circus? Or am I the monkey? The artist, perhaps, is a paradox, both the dreamer and the craftsman, and yet neither at the same time. The dreamer gives birth to the idea, but the one who paints, who refines, and collaborates also shapes the outcome. Without either, the creation would be incomplete. Maybe the artist is the bridge, the one who navigates the chaos of dreaming, directing, and surrendering.

This exhibition explores the rich visual culture of devotion across the Indian subcontinent, tracing connections between the temple traditions of the South and the narrative devotional art of the North. From radiant Tanjore and Mysore icons to evocative Pichwai paintings, each work reflects a shared spiritual imagination expressed through distinct artistic languages. Complemented by ritual objects and sacred forms, the show reveals how devotion lives not just in imagery, but in everyday practice. Together, these works present a timeless dialogue of faith, art, and cultural exchange.

Is This My Circus?

A centenary homage to Satish Gujral, Is This My Circus? was presented under RGAL (Raseel Gujral Ansal Legacy). The exhibition blurred boundaries between art and design with bold, whimsical, and thought-provoking works. Visitors stepped into a surreal world where heritage met experimentation, sparking conversations that lingered long after.

The Festive Edit

Our annual celebration of couture and craft returned to Arzaani with a curated edit featuring leading designers. From handwoven textiles to contemporary silhouettes, the atelier became a festive canvas of elegance and artistry. Guests discovered heirloom-worthy creations in an atmosphere that blended tradition.

Imagine Art & Design Fair

Raseel at Casa Pop unveiled a bold new collection at the prestigious Imagine Fair. Booths D1 & D2 became a vibrant hub where fantastical cabinets, regal chairs, and statement artworks captured the gaze of collectors, designers, and cultural icons. From Governor Keshav Chandra and many more distinguished guests.
